Great service from the ladies who worked here! The hummus and flatbread, as well as the squid, were SO GOOD! The 2 for £15 cocktails were also so delicious and definitely try the Choc Orange Espresso Martini!!
Couple glasses of red and white vino... Which was fresh and crisp... Just a genuine nice vibe... Could go as far as saying a modern establishment with some old school vibes
Excellent location, very close to the cathedral. The food was mediocre, the parsnips were rock hard, limited number of vegetables, the presentation just looked unappetising. The service was friendly but not effective, they charged items to the wrong tables as an example. Overall, it's convenient for a drink, if you're going to the cathedral, but if you're eating, I'm sure there's better.
Such a lovely Christmassy place to have lunch, couldn’t want for more. The staff are what the experience a cut above, always brilliant - we come every year at this time and we’ve never had a bad experience. To achieve that consistency in hospitality is pretty rare! Also very reasonably priced.
A great pub, did a fantastic Christmas meal for our group, very efficient and accommodating staff, delicious food. I had trout and a few roasted veg bits. Great atmosphere, busy but in a good way! Would recommend.
