Visited on the 20th Jan just after 2pm, we were quickly seated and had the usual carvery, food is what you expect, and for the money, you can't really complain, the restaurant emptied out pretty quickly and only a few people remained eating, nice quiet atmosphere, an older lady (sorry forgot her name) was extremely friendly and attentive, made a real fuss of our 5 year old daughter, and her pudding! We all walked out and commented on how fantastic the staff were, well done.
I visited over the weekend and felt very welcomed. I was a bit surprised by the length of the queue but ended up getting seated quite fast. My waitress Nathalie helped me a lot through the process of getting food and drink and made sure to check on my table throughout my meal. Service was fast and i was very pleased with the food. Would 100% visit again!
I visited on Sunday with my family and felt very pleased with my visit. My server Nathalie was very helpful when my vegan family member with her choices and questions. She checked we were okay with our food when we got it and to get her attention if we needed anything. I never normally leave reviews but the atmosphere was lovely, so was the food and so was the server
Had to stand, mainly in the cold for over half an hour with at least 15-20 other people before being seated, apparently upon asking the tablets needed to be clearer but nobody had offered that information to us waiting. Terrible service. When we were seated and sent to the carvery there were lots of empty tanks and tables prepared for customers not used. Too many young staff not knowing what to do. More staff needed especially as it was during a voucher offer time which had increased foot fall hugely apparently Area around carvery very messy
The food was really good, freshly cooked. My only complaint was that the potatoes were slightly sweet ( and I don't like potatoes that are sweet). Meat was good quality. Generally good value for money. We had been trying to get a table there for nearly a year now. Our daughter booked a table in advance. Very nice experience.
