We are one of Bristol’s newest independent mid-sized venues, having opened our doors in September 2020. We are a DIY bar, live music venue (max 330 cap), café, record shop and exhibition space. We also host markets, record/art fairs, workshops, talks and other performance.

Independent gig venue. All Independent gig spaces are a cultural value to society. Good beers, nice door and bar staff. Great layout - chilled atmosphere. This is a bristol treasure.
One of the newer Bristol venues, and a really valuable addition to the current scene. Not dark and sticky-floored like the Fleece (which we love dearly, obvs!) but bright and sparkly and very friendly. Last night's Django Django gig was a delight, but we've also had a brilliant time here (sitting down this time) at a contemporary music concert by the Manchester Collective. Our new favourite place!
This is the best gig venue in Bristol - and I go to a lot of gigs! It has a great selection of drinks, brilliant sound and plenty of space, even for sold-out events. The art and lighting complete a great vibe.
Such a nice venue. Staff and people on the door were lovely. Soundsystem is good. Hits well above its weight, compared to other larger Bristol venues, with the lineups. Oh and if that wasn't enough, great beer selection.
one of my favourite venues for a night out in Bristol! such a refreshing vibe here and very nice to have two rooms to choose from (the foam wall in the back room is so cool). also feel incredibly safe here as a woman - always seem to meet the most welcoming people! really recommend the OST nights but there’s so much on at Strange Brew so it’s worth checking headfirst to see what takes your fancy
