You could be forgiven for walking past the Royal and not noticing it. The Royal is quaint, cosy and full of surprises, the nicest of these being a beautiful walled beer garden at the back. This is a great venue for pre-show drinks for the Centenary Hall and the perfect spot to start or end a tour of Peel. The pub returned to real ale some years ago,as one of the last two Heron & Brearley pubs on island to do so.
Very good beer best on lom
Great bar with a good choice of real ales. Lovely staff. A must visit if you're in Peel.
Lovely local pub in the heart of Peel. Roy keeps an amazing pint and it's always on my list to visit every time I'm on the Island.
Easily in the top 2 pubs in Peel. The owner Roy and his son Conny are always most welcome and very personal with each customer. Great vibes, great people and more importantly great beer. Could not recommend this pub any more, GOAT status
While visiting Peel I came across this pub when I attended an impromptu event at The Centenary Centre. 2 short visits Saturday evening and 1 Sunday Lunchtime before I left Peel. Very friendly staff and couldn’t do enough. The locals also very friendly and welcoming. Great pint of Okills. Sunday Lunchtime Toni was working behind the bar and she does a great job and great with Customers I will be back the next time I am in Peel.
