The Piercefield is just a short distance from Chepstow race course and is a great place for a pre or post race drink or meal. We are the perfect combination of a traditional British Inn and contemporary style. We have a regularly changing menu with quality British ingredients from producers we can trust.
Our eldest son had recommended The Piercefield several times for a good meal and we finally went there yesterday as a family of 6. The food was absolutely lovely, everything cooked perfect all 6 of us had different meals and they were all lovely nothing was left 😁 The sherry trifle cheesecake was YUMMY!!! Staff very friendly lovely atmosphere good back round music.. We will definitely be returning
Having been to Tintern and not being able to find a place to grab lunch (tried 2 places) Found this on way back to the M48 thankfully! Lovely Sunday roast and a big thank you to Leah who was extremely friendly and gave wonderful service, which sadly in this day and age can be lacking in an industry which is very very tough gig at the moment
We had a warm welcome from the young man behind the bar who directed us to the waitress. She was equally friendly and took us to our table. She took drinks orders straight away,then gave us a perfect amount of time to decide on our food order. The food took a while to arrive, but no complaints as that indicates it is cooked to order. When the food arrived, it was well presented and tasted good. The pie was particularly good. Its not often full pastry case pies are served these days and it was perfectly cooked too. We also had deserts which were nice.
Really loved it here the vibe the staff and the food was amazing. Very impressed. One I will make habit coming to already telling friends family. Was advised to book table as get busy I can see why . There Christmas decorations was really lovely . They also do music etc here so all rounded pub . Fabulous recommended.
Brilliant pub food at a good price. Starter of Brie dippers were phenomenal and for mains we had Surf & Turf, fish & chips and scampi & chips. They all came out piping hot and very delicious/ fresh. Staff were accommodating and friendly, can’t wait to return.
