Excellent tap house, they even have loyalty cards! Well worth a visit.
Over the road from the little hop is this fantastic micro pub, which also brews a range of real ales on handpump This place is a must to visit when in this area of swindon doing the little hop micro pub near by Saturday 18th oct 2022 Friday 26th January 2024 Today, i again visited this great home brew pub on devizes Road on swindons old town area This great home brew pub had 6 hand pumps on all doing hop and kettle ales from loght to dark ales Great bar staff and land lord great locals. Some were a bit snooty, though, but that's life. This 1 roomed micro pub is a must to visit when on devizes toad if uus want to drink great real ales in great surroundings
Great beers but pizza we ordered took forever...eventually arrived after I cancelled order...we were told we still had drinks so why were we complaining?..we were spinning out drinks until pizza arrived! Pizza wasn't great...if you want great pizza go to the Royal Oak. Re your reply as owner. I wasn't "happy" as you put it to continue with the order. I decided to pay for it as we had waited 40 minutes and that is way too long to wait for a pizza, busy night or not. Having waited so long we were really past being hungry and were becoming annoyed but decided to not make a fuss and have the pizza. You also made a comment that we were "still enjoying our drinks". Actually we were making the drinks last while waiting for the pizza. We then ordered another drink so your business benefitted by being so slow with the pizza order. Also there was no offer of any mayo or anything to go with the pizza...please post on here when you have checked out the pizzas at the Royal Oak (so much better than yours 👍😀), they have the same guy there that used to do them in the Little Hop then the Eternal Optimist. I suggest you listen 👂👂 and act on feedback rather than trying to blame me as your customer.
Superb selection of both cask and keg beers brewed on the premises. Experimental beers also brewed here. Yet another of the 'must do' pubs in the Old Town
A great selection of locally brewed fresh beer on tap (cask and keg). Do try the milkshake ipa and the milk stout if you can!
