The Apsley Cottage is a Manchester boozer packed full of history.
Situated directly next to the Manchester Apollo Theatre and therefore is a favourite amongst music fans, and is famous the world over. Many of the rock bands that have played at the Apollo have enjoyed a pint in the Apsley after the gig, and the walls of the pub are plastered with AAA passes from the biggest bands in the world.
Just popped head through the door and decided to go elsewhere. It says they serve food online but when we asked we were told they didn't.
Amazing pub to grab a drink before going to a gig . Ask the staff they will tell you when the qué is gone .
Great spot right next to the Apollo, sometimes seen artists in there pre-gig. Glad it's still going strong 👊🏼
What, Great pub i was stun to see this place was still here,my dear friend John Maguire who comes from this area,told me about this pub.i saw the man he told me about Jack..good all round Irishman,likes his Guinness,who doesn't...John used to work at the apollo in 77/81.then went to Apollo Oxford. so i had to come and see this place,and he was spot on..KEEP GOING JACK...i'll be back again when in Manchester next time..
Great place for a pint before/after a gig. Nice selection of drinks and very reasonably priced too.
