Cosy up by the wood burner under the oak beams or find a spot in the sunshine on our large terrace whilst the kids burn off some energy in the secluded garden – either way, you can enjoy hearty pub classics, Sunday roasts, or simply a glass of something you fancy at our traditional pub.

Had a fabulous, early, NYE dinner. You think I'd be bored of roast turkey but I had to have it again hahaha The crab ravioli, that we both had for our starter, was delicious! Fella's fish and chip main looked fab too & he was stuffed, after clearing the plate. Je still had room for a brick of sticky toffee pudding though haaha All washed down with a lovely bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape. REALLY LOVELY staff, attentive but not intrusive, professional and kind. Highly recommend!
Booked a meal with my son, who has multiple allergies and family. The manager was excellent at taking the care and time to ensure he would be able to eat safely. He had a two course meal and thoroughly enjoyed it! Honestly, the best dining out experience we’ve had with his allergies, can’t recommend enough. Also worth saying the food and drinks the rest of the table had were delicious too. Really excellent service, too- will definitely be back soon!
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely food and a nice selection of wines. We went on a weekday and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress Sabrina was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. All round lovely time and would recommend.
Beautiful building good decor staff pleasant. Food was ok but that is all. Big negative for me does not take cash pub up the road The Fox proudly announce we take cash. Although the decor was fine and the staff pleasant the place was soul less. Unfortunately, The Fox was shut on a Monday so we had to use the Worlds End. Had it been open I would have turned around as soon as I saw the no cash sign. Garden very good, building nice. Toilets good. Typical managed house needs a governor and ditch the no cash nonsense until then it’s the Fox up the road every time for me.
