But we’re not always about taking it slow. Less time to spare? Pop in for a week day lunch or a quiet moment with a pint or even a coffee. We are dog friendly in our bar areas only.

The food is always spot on and the service is great! Staff are attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. We come here at least every couple of months and will continue to do so
It was my first time visiting the Swan, I found you online and did not have any personal recommendations so was not sure what to expect. However, upon arrival I was impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The layout of the pub is very comfortable, with the tables nicely spaced out so as not to feel too crowded. The Sunday menu offered a good choice between roast dinners and other main meals, all reasonably priced. We had a few small issues, firstly a lemonade we ordered the syrup had run out and secondly when we received our roast dinners we were missing the carrots, however once we raised these issues with the staff they were quickly resolved, and the staff couldn't have been more apologetic. Overall it was a very pleasant dining experience and I look forward to returning in the near future.
The food was lovely, but the waiting staff seemed disinterested. We waited half an hour for our empty plates to be taken away. Usually we are asked if all is okay while eating, that didn’t happen either and I was left with an empty glass for most of the meal after finishing my wine.
Busiest we have seen on our visits but it's good for time of year to have seasonal atmosphere with people enjoying meals. We went for the lighter lunch menu and food was well cooked and very tasty, my husband had a lovely BLT sandwich and said a turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwich would be a good choice to put on as a seasonal one. All four of us thought that the apple and cherry crumble really good 👍
We have been to this place 3 times now for Sunday lunch. 1st time was amazing, we thought it could be a fluke so went again for the 2nd time a few weeks later and yet again the meal was stunning... We decided to go yesterday on a spur of the moment after visiting family, again absolutely stunning. Have to say the staff are lovely too very accommodating. This will now be our regular eatery. Can't wait to try some other yummy stuff from your menu. Definitely a five star from me and my husband 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
