This is a family ran pub with a great refurbishment and children's play area. Fantastic drink offers and entertainment every weekend ! Also now doing Sunday lunches breakfast and afternoon tea !!
The Woodpecker Hotel is a large brick built community pub on Derby's Mackworth Estate. It is a 10 minute drive into the City center. To the front of the pub is a large open grass area. It has a nice bar and a comfortable lounge. A good range of Keg products are on the bar and they now serve a real ale Sharp's Doom Bar.

Food absolutely delicious and a very nice drink too
Everything here was 5 stars, the staff are lovely and the food is absolutely amazing, so flavourful and the value for money is crazy, even before the 20% off which was a great surprise. Definitely will be coming back.
Every meal I've had here has been fantastic. Can't fault it. The cheese and garlic naan breads are unbelievable
Lovely food and warm friendly welcome. Good beer and atmosphere. Very busy when we were there but service both friendly and excellent.
Thursday evening, thought I’d give this a go, lovely Bar area Good Indian food keema naan chicken balti medium masala chips and pilia rice xx And a koperburg 🍻 Newly refurbed, have to say it’s very clean, staff are friendly and welcoming, ladies toilet check 🥰✔️ Thanks again guys and good luck with your new business ❤️🙏🏼 Ps Masala chips is a definite 😊
