Visited at the beginning of January. Not sure if the standard of service received on my visit is the norm. It was my first and probably the last time I will go. The carvery was not great. Vegetables apart from the potatoes were rock solid. The queuing was ridiculous. Could have been due to staff shortage why service was so poor.

I wanted something for dinner before seeing a film but Nando’s had no tables for an hour so decided to have a drink here first and then return. Noticed the carvery looked decent so decided to have this instead. Really enjoyed it. £7.99 was a good price for all this (weekdays only). No need to order large as you help yourself anyway. Everything was tasty. I think I got lucky reading some of the reviews on here. The staff were rushed off their feet (but still friendly) so understaffing is probably main cause of the problems here but pleased to report I had a very enjoyable meal here with no complaints.

Absolutely ridiculous we waited 45 minutes for food and had to ask for it to be checked on and it’s suddenly appeared, there was a piece of garlic bread missing our cheese sauce was missing. I asked for my beyond burger to be more on the well done side but it was so overcooked that it just broke apart and crumbled in my hand and was completely inedible do not recommend to anyone

Myself, my daughter (11), my friend and her son (3) decided to have some dinner here after coming out of the wacky warehouse soft play. When we ordered food we were advised it would be up to a 30 minute wait which was fine - we assumed there might be a delay as opposite our table in the corner area there was a large family celebration going on. I had the mini mixed grill, my friend had scampi, chips and mushy peas, her son has the small child size fish fingers, beans and mash, my daughter had a medium carvery. Food only actually took 20 minutes to arrive which was nice however, apart from my daughter, no-one fully enjoyed our meals. The food was barely warm, chips were like cardboard, peas were cold, the mash was dry and a weird colour and the worst was on the last few chunks of chicken my friend thankfully noticed they were pink and not cooked properly. We mentioned our issues to our server and she was so apologetic and offered us all a free dessert each which was a lovely gesture. I had the chocolate fudge cake, my friend the sticky toffee pudding, her son had the childs chocolate brownie and my daughter had the chocolate mania. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the desserts. The atmosphere was a little overwhelming due to children that were with the family celebrating, they were screaming and running round tables playing tag which was highly loud and distracting. The best part of our visit was the customer service we received from Gabby (at the bar), the guy serving meat at the carvery (didnt catch his name) and Kayleigh who was our server, they were all so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to try and rectify the problems we had. Unfortunately due to our overall experience we would probably avoid coming here again.

We had a great time today at wacky warehouse. The grandkids (aged 3 & 5) had a lovely lively time in the soft play. Plenty to keep them occupied for the entire 90 mins. Although fully booked it was not too crowded which was good. Coffee fantastic. No nasty instant stuff. Delicious carrot cake too. The two members of staff, Dawn and Grace were so helpful. Nothing too much trouble to make sure we were looked after, despite the fact that they were on the go continuously. Lovely happy smiling staff. What a breath of fresh air: this was our first time her but definitely will be back.
