About us

Harrogate’s former Royal Baths included the Winter Gardens – built so that visitors could relax and stroll in any weather. Its name lives on in this Wetherspoon pub. During the 1920s, people could relax here, amid potted palms, listening to music from a grand piano. In the 1930s, the Municipal Orchestra played every morning throughout the year, with free admission for the patients of the baths.

Another iconic building taken over by wetherspoons that reeks of history and augments the senses upon entry. Definitely worth a visit.

This must be the most amazing architectural Wetherspoons I’ve been in. It’s literally a work of art. The cheap drinks are still available along with the food of course but you feel as though you are on a film set for the Roaring Twenties. It was packed out as most of these pubs are but we got a table quickly and our drinks within minutes. Go there just to see what it looks like, it’s amazing.

Excellent pub in a beautiful large spacious building with plenty of outside seating. Great location in centre of Harrogate with large pay & display car park right next to it. All the usual Weatherspoon’s features you know & love.

We booked the function room for our wedding reception. The room is beautiful and with a few decorations it looked amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were incredibly helpful and patient with us. We had an assortment of pizza and chips for our guests to nibble on and when the pizzas were all gone (because they were so nice) they quickly sent some more through. This is an amazing venue in the centre of Harrogate with very reasonable prices, great if your on a budget

This is a very pretty Spoons! Usual food for dinner/breakfast lovely apart from the beans…may have been off 🥴 Ordered through app, no issues for bottles but bit of a mix up on pint (top) and mixer for liqueur. Staff were lovely, very friendly. TOILETS ARE DOWNSTAIRS!! No climbling!! Lots of nice outdoor seating.
