Absolutely lovely place for a meal. The restaurant is cosy and has a fireplace that makes it perfect for wintry walks. The menu is great, something for all diets and budgets and the portion size is perfect.
A late Sunday lunch...only space was upstairs. Decent food, pleasant young servers. A busy Sunday lunchtime buzz. We've been back since for drinks beside the large open wood burning fire. Very cosy. People slipped into our seats as soon as we departed
Food is great! I recommend the Ham, Egg and Chips. Very nice atmosphere, quite chill. Desert was nice as well. Overall, a really enjoyable experience.
First time in the area and decided to go here based on what others said and we weren't disappointed. The pub is very nicely organised on the inside and it's way bigger than it looks. And the food is amazing. Our little one loved her food so much she just talked over and over about how nice it's in the pub. Service was amazing too, so would definitely recommend the pub. If we're back in the area, will definitely come here to eat
Gluten Free!! We went to this pub half an hour before they closed the kitchen and they were still kind enough to make us food and look after us! It was a very quiet evening (not sure if it gets busier), very accommodating to my allergies. We enjoyed a lovely meal 🙂 Massive thank you to the staff!!
