A lovely pub with a awesome menu choice and fantastic service the Welsh Barman was so friendly and helpful. Easy to get a table for walk ins, there is section for reserved and an area for casual and very dog friendly too. We had Korean chicken very tasty and the brioche bread pudding and sticky Toffee cheese Cake was nice

A warm, cozy, beautiful English pub tucked in the village of Avebury. Dog friendly and amazing collection of beer/ales. Food's really nice and pocket friendly prices. Would surely try visiting once again!

Large pub in the centre of the Avebury Stones. Serving an array of beers and various food choices. Friendly and helpful staff too. Ensure to book in advance on a Sunday if you want food.

Lovely little Gem of a pub in the centre of Avebury. Warm and welcoming, the landlord and staff were very good at filling us in on the pubs history. A very lovely evening all around and the landlord couldn't have been more attentive

My parents were down visiting and we decided to go out for a drive on what has to be the wettest day ever and luckily ended up at the Red Lion. I’d driven past it many times before but this was the first time I’d actually been in. I wasn’t disappointed. It is a beautiful venue, smack bang in the middle of the village, in the centre of the famous inner standing stone circle. We must have visited at a busy time as we couldn’t get a parking space and had to park down near a church two minutes down the road. We ordered lunch and didn’t have to wait long for the drinks or food to arrive. The only issue we had with the order was they’d forgotten the side of chips we’d ordered and we had to go and chase them. Otherwise the food was good but the Ciabatta’s used on the lunch menu items were very hard and difficult for my parents to finish. I would return here again but on a much better day. I would love to sit outside as the Red Lion had lots of lovely looking outdoor space. I bet on a beautifully sunny summers day with an ice cold drink in hand, looking over at the stores in the next field, would be an amazing experience indeed.
