Had a really delicious meal this afternoon, had the homemade nachos for starters , and chicken fajitas that came out sizzling and al so I as delicious, lovely atmosphere and our server Adele was very helpful and friendly , and thanks to the chefs for the amazing cooking😋👍
Great pub. Really good deal for food and the lunch menu was a really good price for what you receive we were definitely full. The staff were incredible and had great service. Not been to the pub in a long time and I will definitely be returning as the service and food were both great. Our server was Hannah who was very polite and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Seems to be a great team, very polite and professional and was happy to advise us on any deals and upcoming events in the pub. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.
I visited last night with my husband. We didn’t have a table booked however the staff was very accommodating and quick to get us seated. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fillet which was cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was a 10/10 and would recommend this place to anyone! I didn’t get all the names of the staff however one lady who served us was named Amy and she is a credit to the widecombe fair. Thank you for making our visit a pleasant one and we will definitely be back in future.
Lovely place with cheerful staff, good service with food that tastes good & served hot. We visited as an after-school treat. All the staff were pleasant, happy & chatty. We had Emma as our server, and she showed interest in us & made us feel welcome. The food we ordered came out quick & hot. Good pub grub at a reasonable price. We will be visiting again.
It’s been difficult to find a place to eat that has great service levels, food and atmosphere. The widecombe fair ticks all the boxes with ease. Great food and staff that can’t do enough to make the experience as good as possible. You’ve got to give the Tomahawk a go with Argentinian sauce wow! Top quality food and a great price.
