Cannot believe that people who have known the landlord for countless years are listening to the evil vicious lies of the woman who bullied him with threats of violence from her and her male conspireter. He's on police bail after being removed and she's left .Now her dreams of her becoming the landlady are over she is seeking to destroy what the landlord has achieved. Now some woman from a baker's shop in South Normanton is spreading her lies The post below is from the perpetrator.Police are now involved and this woman has been in to police for questioning more to follow
A fantastic pub, with friendly, welcoming patrons! Will absolutely go back any day! The owner & his mate are fantastic & had a grand old chat with them! Thank you for making what was a very long day into a great evening!
Didn't stay there but was in walking distance of the hotel. I went there most nights for excellent food, friendly staff and customers. This was in the late 90's and traveling for my job. I always felt welcome, even as an American. Enjoyed great ale as well as Scrumpy Jack.
Independent ! Very friendly Very good value Didn’t eat but gave the 5 stars anyway
