Welcome to The White Lion Inn, Bar, Dining, Accommodation at Bourton

The White Lion is a beautiful old building dating from1712 and we offer a warm welcome in a comfortable and relaxing environment, excellent beers and ciders, superb food with fine wines, a cosy bar with open fire, an elegant restaurant and a large beer garden. But so do other pubs, so what makes us special? The atmosphere – our locals and friends who make it feel like pubs used to feel, like home just with more beer and no washing up. Booked a birthday meal for a friend. Excellent service and delicious home cooked food. Even candles in my friends dessert. Will definitely visit again.

Ate here with some friends tonight, this is a beautiful place, a true country pub with exquisite food!! Do go here, you won't be disappointed. It's beautiful inside and out. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious!!

It's set back from the main road so very peaceful and with good parking Food and service were good I had a beef burger and fries The meat was succulent and the chips were crispy Definitely recommend if you're in the area

Only ate here on the way to Devon but what a brilliant find!!! Eccentric old pub with a friendly pub cat and delicious food! Wish we lived closer. Staff were amazing and food was top notch. Very pleased to have stubbled upon it! Go if you can. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful pub with a gorgeous garden. We came as a family after recommendations from a family friend. We ordered dinner and the food was outstanding and the portion sizes where very generous. Good beer and wine selection at the bar too. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you :)
