Only ever been on a Saturday morning for breakfast 😋... definitely worth it
The best dinners around. Under 5's eat free. All fresh veg and homemade Yorkshire puddings.
Called in day before for a breakfast which was good. Decided to give there Carvery a go. Phoned to book in, very busy, which is always a good sign. Choice of 3 meats from 5 and plenty of veg. Well impressed when the plates were taken to your table and gravy served separately. Most people left with take away box.
We we're going out for lunch with friends. We had a table booked for 1:30. Had a quick drink in the pub, then went in for 1:25. Had to wait a while to seated, not a problem. By the time we were "allowed" to go up to the CARVERY, it was 2:20!!!! Then the dinner was luke warm. I know covid hit every place hard, but this place really went downhill. It's such a shame....😔
Me and my sister went there today as it had been recommended to me unfortunately it wasn't good. The veg was cold, the meat was cold, the gravy was hot and the Yorkshire pudding was soggy on the inside and burnt on the outside. The place was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful. Shame about the food
