Sensational food!! Mixed grill cooked to perfection. Curry’s full of flavour and cooked with love! Ugly be the best Indian food in the midlands !! Go check it out yourself. Definitely a must visit spot. Worth the travel !!
Real shame, food was great as always. Atmosphere was like being in the middle of a stag do. Shame as really shortened our visit and I would imagine others too. Maybe avoid getting in big groups of lads with egos bigger than houses but the drinking ability of a toddler 🤣
Absolutely loved my recent visit here from the walm welcome we received on arrival to all the amazing flavour full food this will definitely be my new spot for all Indian Food. I also enjoyed the massive screens for sport.
After a considerable hiatus, my taste buds were thoroughly delighted by the delectable cuisine at The urban Fox pub. This establishment transported me to the heart of India with its authentic flavors. With its ground floor seating setup, the restaurant boasts ample tables; nevertheless, a queue of eager diners eagerly awaits an available space. The staff exhibits remarkable professionalism, efficiently tending to their duties. Furthermore, the food is reasonably priced, in perfect alignment with the exceptional taste and generous portion sizes.
This has been our local for many years now and if you asked me a week ago I would have rated it 5 stars. But my friends and I were very disappointed yesterday when we turned up for dinner and were told there was nothing we could eat. We had been really excited about the new menu. As vegans, the Urban Fox has always catered towards us whether it just be something as simple as a vegan burger and chips. But we were told there was nothing on the menu that could be vegan (although they were working on it). This makes me think the new menu has not got allergens thought through. Sadder still, when other friends came to join us they were turned away as they had their dog with them. This has always been a pub that has welcomed dogs, and this rule is going to upset a lot of regular customers. Perhaps there should be one room in the pub where dogs can go in and one room where they can’t? The service from the bar staff was great as usual, we can’t fault that, and look forward to hopefully seeing some positive changes soon.
