Went to a wake for my Mother in law passing, very pleasant in the circumstances Good turn out and clean and tidy pub
Nice to find a pub that's from yesteryear, and not a theme establishment. Staff and locals friendly, found it amusing that the mens 🚾 was across the road from the pub. Visit again when in Launceston.
Amazing roast beef dinner, the best beef I've ever tasted! Can't believe we've not been to this local pub.
Visited as opposing dart team. Team was friendly and we had a good night. Burger or sausage and chips offered as refreshments which was very good. It's a locals pub so it was extremely noisy with lots of shoutey people.
A traditional local pub with a very friendly welcome and a good range of alcoholic and soft drinks. They were doing breakfast and lunches when I visited but not evening meals, possibly due to it still being outside the tourist season. The staff were lovely, the toilets clean and the tables cleaned and disinfected after each use. Slightly quirky as the men's toilets are in the building across the road! The clientele were also friendly and chatty, would definitely visit again.

This is a 19th-century town drinkers' pub with a friendly atmosphere, popular with locals. It is close to the former cattle market, which closed in 1991. The pub supports euchre, darts and pool teams.
