In London for a day so just decided to make use of the restaurant next to where we are staying. Really glad I did, my mouth kept watering with every bite of the steak it was rather funny honestly, my partner seemed equally pleased with their chicken burger. Servers were very polite and food was prepared and served promptly, I won't be back but I wish I could be :)
Came to the Gatwick Manor the night before a flight. We were warmly welcomed by Jamie, who is an absolute love, polite & courteous. We were served by Alison, who was also extremely warm & welcoming. I ordered off of the specials menu, prawns to start & a fillet steak. Everything was cooked to perfection & absolutely delicious. All of our party was extremely happy with their food & the service we received, which was 5 star. I would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed. Sorry no photos as we scoffed the lot!
I recently dined at Chef and Brewer near Gatwick, and I must say, the steak pie was both big and delicious – a real highlight. The roasts were equally impressive, and I found the overall dining experience to be excellent. The prices were reasonable, offering good value for money. A special shout-out to Dimi for providing exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the visit. The restaurant's convenient location near Gatwick adds to its appeal. Duncan is also fantastic
This is a hard review... We're staying in the Premier Inn for the night and we were arriving late so 'last minute dot com' looked for somewhere to eat. Discovered the Gatwick Manor was right next door, Result!. Nice and easy grab food head back to the room. The building facade is actually quite olde worldy and quaint. The staff were friendly if not a little hectic and slightly disorganised. But upon asking for food this seemed to completely throw them! We had arrived in the evening but still over an hour before last orders & they had to check if we could even eat... The restaurant/pub was only half full so overcrowding wasn't an issue. After paying for what sounded quite a 'gourmet' roast dinner (as roast dinners go) duck fat roasties, maple carrots etc. we received mediocre, Luke warm dinners (pretty swiftly I have to add). Now the bar staff were really friendly trying to start up conversation, the food waiter not so... Quite angrily just uttered what meat was on the plate, no extra customer service... Even asking for a little extra gravy seemed like a chore. Now I understand maybe they had started packing down the kitchen so were a bit put off (I get it) but we were there well within service time and the establishment chose what was on the menu. Unfortunately, customer focus/service was not this businesses priority... I suggest either lowering last order times or get some kitchen/customer service training. You have the ideal located/looking establishment!
Great place with great food.Our waiter James was super attentive and very friendly.The other staff were friendly and all had a smile on their faces.Would definitely eat here again if we were staying at the Premier Inn.
