1 night stay and breakfast. Both amazing! Atmosphere also! As tourist its a full English experience. Price is fair also and rooms are clean.

Having lived in this village for 19 years, it is a shame to have to put on a review that is so negative for my local pub. My family of 5 went for a meal on Jan 10th at The Bell, having eaten there on Christmas Day and many years prior, we had high expectations which are usually met. Unfortunately, we got off to a bad start as two members ordered the mussels, which came out almost stone cold (as well as their partnering of fries), and the "fresh bloomer bread" was first of all forgotten, and upon being reminded, the staff brought out cold sliced bread that had clearly come off any old loaf. The "Cheesy Truffle Tiger Fries" were yet another disappointment to two members of our party. The truffle oil was undetectable, and the cheese certainly not melted... apparently they are under the "to share" section of the menue at £8 each... regrettably they do not fulfil this either. Moving on to dessert, two members chose the "Luxury Biscuit Sundae" which sadly lacked in cheesecake pieces and came with a lump of frozen fruit that was inedible (I mean a handful of raspberries frozen together like they were just dug out of the freezer). Upon bringing this to the attention of staff, we were told it was supposed to come like that...even though frozen fruit ice block wasn't in the description. Finally, the tantalising sounding "S'mores Chocolate Brownie" had what appeared to be tinned cherries (not Cherry Compote), no vanilla ice cream and no biscoff crumbs either! Oh and the toasted marshmallows were those mini ones you can buy at the supermarket - sadly instead of toasted they were hard and stale. The staff who served us were lovely and accommodating, these downfalls are that of the Chef. Since this pub has been taken over by the Stonegate group standards have fallen and the menu is NOT an accurate description of what you get but rather false advertising! P.S. two members of my family went for a roast a few weeks ago... their bill was scrapped as their meat came out cold (once they had to pick between two as Chef had run out of the rest) and their vegetables were raw...

Absolutely brilliant establishment in every respect - great ambience, very comfortable room, awesome food better than any " pub" anywhere, fabulous beers and unparalleled service from Edwina, Michael and others. We came to Tanworth-in-Arden to pay our respects to Nick Drake and we will return here without hesitation.

We're here at the moment. We've booked in for 2 night. Immaculately clean room. The best bed I have ever slept in. Just enjoying their Halloween night. My partner and I cant be happier and we will definitely come here again. Its a little pricey but well worth every penny. Such a friendly clientele and the staff can't do enough to make you feel welcome - just a great, happy atmosphere. 5★

Headed here for an evening meal from a nearby campsite and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely setting and welcoming atmosphere followed by top food on a very reasonable set menu price. Special mention to our waitress Ruby as well as the rest of the staff Edwina, Bethany and George. All did a fantastic job and we will certainly be back! Couldn’t recommend this pub highly enough.
