About us

It has since been converted into a cozy canalside public house with a friendly atmosphere serving a selection of reasonably priced bar food and drinks. The interior, beer garden and patio provide comfortable setting while retaining the character of the old building. We offer a small home cooked menu daily (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays). In addition to the bar and snug there is a small dining area. There is also a meeting room onsite.

A great pub with friendly staff, along with a great atmosphere, leads to a very pleasant atmosphere. Most important they serve a great selection of beer.

Great pub serving an excellent variety of real ale and cider, plus a few traditional cobs and pork pies. Opening hours are restricted early-week, so check before travelling. It's conveniently close to Alvechurch station, which is in the line connecting to Bournville (for stirchley high st) and Birmingham New Street.

Great real ale pub by the canal , I'm sure it would be lovely on a warm summer's evening. We went in February for the Wassail which was great fun & very well attended.
