Lovely pub, great range of beers. Didn’t know Kidderminster had its own brewery and their ales were very aromatic and refreshing. Beers kept well, were crystal clear. Nice to see as a lot of pubs don’t keep up with looking after the casks. Definitely will be going back soon.
Went to the 3 bars in the 2024 Good beer guide. Given I love micro pubs . Not only was the worst of the 3 it was also the most intimidating micro I have ever visited. At least 3 guys Vaping 2 at the bar with no regard to people being served. I hope this wasn't representative
Fantastic choice of real ales, offered a taster too. Great choice of single malts. Easy walking distance to football ground. Would love another excuse to visit Kidderminster!
Brilliant bar with extensive range of real ales and bespoke lagers. Visited on a Friday lunch but no food/kitchen. Not a problem. The staff said we were welcome to buy food from local takeaways. We chose chips and chicken and mushroom pie from next door with extra portions for the staff. Pity we only had 45 minutes before catching the steam train back as we would have stayed longer. Locals that were in were friendly too. A revisit is definitely on the cards next time we are in the area. Well done team.
Great choice of ales for a small place. Was very quiet when I was there so can't speak of the atmosphere but I would imagine it being good.
