About us

The Watermill in Kidderminster is a wonderful traditional pub with bags of character. We are set in a beautiful old watermill, right on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. A heated patio overlooks the water. It’s perfect for sunny days and summer nights. When it gets cooler, come indoors for a warm welcome and some truly amazing period features.

We have a children’s menu full of good food, and a play area to keep them busy while you relax with a drink. Book ahead or turn up in your own time.

Of all the pubs in Kidderminster, The Watermill is easily the most impressive.

Come over and be completely charmed!.

Fabulous place. There were 15 of us from Scotland who had travelled to Kidderminster for a family funeral. For being a noisy bunch, the ladies were very tolerant and looked after us well. Very accommodating and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thank you girls.

We love coming to the watermill, it's a lovely pub with comfy seating. The food choice is great and typical pub grub!! Very tasty!!! The staff are friendly and the service is quick. We'll definitely be returning and also recommend to our family and friends. The only slight down side is that the alcoholic drinks are expensive, especially the lagers

All went well with our visit, we were welcomed in and shown to our table that we had pre-booked. Our order was taken for drinks straight away and food order was taken within 5 minutes. The wait for the food was about 30 minutes but when it came it was all to our satisfaction. The total cost seemed quit reasonable and the waitress sorted out our deposit from our Christmas booking that we were unable to keep and had cancelled due to Covid.

We were greeted with a smile. Shown to our table asked if we wanted a drink while we waited for our guest. When the meal was ordered at the bar we were asked if we had a voucher code. The meal was served with a smile. She was courteous happy to be there. We noticed that the tables were cleaned and tidied after the customers left. The meal was well presented and tasty. Our friend who ran a high end restaurant said the steak was excellent and perfectly cooked. His plate was empty and he said I enjoyed that as you can see from what was left on my plate. We were not hassled at anytime . The only issue which is not was that my husband had a bottle of nonalcoholic lager which wasn’t to his taste. He usually has usually has peroni non-alcoholic . All in all a very pleasant lunch .
