We came to eat at the Vine Tree tonight, well they knocked it out the park! Fantastic food, very friendly and accommodating service. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some delicious wholesome, warming food after a day of hiking. I ate the crispy pork belly stir-fry to start… very good! Chicken supreme for mains: warming and filling. And to finish it all off with the sticky toffee pudding… shut the front door!! Leave it out! Unreal. Also dog friendly. 👌🏻

Visited the vinetree for a meal. The food was high quality; delicious and presented nicely. The fireplace adds to the atmosphere (and warmth), and makes for a cozy seating area by the bar. Service was wonderful - both the kitchen staff and front of house were very accommodating. The coffee was excellent too.

Met here for Sunday lunch with friends during the summer and had a great meal. Service was excellent, and the upstairs restaurant was spacious and airy. The quality of the meat was excellent. Could have done with an extra roast potato or two and the food being a bit hotter but otherwise can’t complain. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and we were impressed with the contemporary interior design. Would always recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Setting was lovely and staff were efficient and friendly but we ordered steak and was disappointed with it. Mine should of been medium rare but was more rare and not very hot. My partner asked for med to well done but his was quite rare too, also not very hot. Dessert was lovely though. Found it quite expensive too. All round a bit disappointed.

Great service, great food and a nice place to be! Staff attentive, tables well spaced. We discovered we could have taken our little dog with us. If you book they will seat you downstairs with your ‘hound’! I had the ‘Land and sea’ At least I think that was what it was called. Yummy, steak cooked as I like it with prawns (the big ones!) and mash, potato, vegetables, and a lovely seafood bisque…. Couldn’t manage my Eton mess after all that, so they put it in a nice box and I took it home.😋 will be going back there again for sure👍PS yes they do have a car park!
