Went for a meal, first time there. Food was excellent, service was excellent and price was excellent. It was quiet but staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back. Highly recommend

Had a really great stay at Vallum House, on a recent cycling trip. I could store my bike securely at the property, there are some great routes nearby too. The rooms were clean and well furnished, cozy bed and a nice cooked breakfast too. A* thanks team!
I found this Hotel to be quite nice. The service on arrival was pretty poor, and I was made to feel that I was disturbing the receptionist from playing on her mobile phone. The meal was ok, but again the service from the same young lady, was poor. The room and breakfast was of a basic standard, but once again, the service was not friendly or professional, and I believe some training would help the staff.
Had my Mothers funeral tea here recently. Owners and staff couldn’t of been more helpful. Food was delicious, everything perfect. Would highly recommend.
