Had a great night here at the speak easy comedy night. The venue is spacious, the drinks are cheap and the staff are friendly and helpful. We seen Katy Hopkins and she was amazing along with dawn Wilkinson and the rest of the brilliant acts. Highly recommended venue.
Terrible place to spend your night (thanks to the regular customers) dont blame the staff but this lovely bar… BANS WOMEN. Because of the lovely old regular customers, women are banned from sitting in the pub; it is SO vile infact, that women have been designated their own room. In which, by the way, men are allowed to roam freely. This is disgusting. I hope someone decides that customers cannot decide the rules in their pub, the staff do. You cant say they ban women so they dont lose their customers because i can guarantee if the ban didnt exist, me and my group would 1000% replace those regulars. Aside from that, pints and drinks are cheap, staff are lovely and welcoming. Great place to go if you hate yourself but need a drink ladies.
A fantastic little club and venue for a function. Staff were fantastic and the prices were unbelievable cheap! £5.15 for a pint of Stella and a glass of wine! My local is £4.50 just for a pint! Well recommended and would seriously consider joining if we still lived close by.
