About us

At long last, we will be re opening our doors to the public on Thursday 29th April 2021 at 3pm.

We will be reopening in phases starting with our beer garden Thursday – Monday 15:00 to 22:00. As restrictions ease we will increase our availability and open indoor areas for booking.

No set return to live music yet, but please keep an eye out for updates and in the meantime make sure you catch Mad Ferret online every Sunday from 5pm for the Socially Distanced Sunday Social.

Please find below our updated guidance for guests and click here to book now.

Thanks for sticking with us, we really can’t wait to welcome you all back to our Garden and Pub in the coming weeks.

Lots of love,

Team Tams.

Always a great atmosphere at this. Some would consider it as a second home especially for musicians. Hottest place to go to in Perth. Beer prices have significantly improved recently, good sized, as well as sociable atmosphere for their beer garden. Sunday socials are fantastic for musicians who want a little taste of performing to an audience.

Went there with family for evening meal and a drink, while travelling Perth. Food was ok, portions on smaller side. Service was again nothing spl to write about. Atmosphere, not somewhere I want to go out for evening meal with family. Drunk & rough crowd, had to rush meal to quickly leave as I was with children.

We stopped here for food but the kitchen was closed. It was still a great place to stop for drinks and music! We stayed and had a drink and the music was beautiful! The atmosphere is exactly what we expect for a Scottish pub! Stop in for a drink and soak up the locale music! Loved it! Thank you, Twa Tams!

When I was staying in Perth I was as on Marshal Place just a few hundred metres away. Used to go here specifically for the live music. Great atmosphere. Loved the cozy fireplace. Great spot. Great history.

MUST GO. We stumbled upon this pub to stop by for a meal next door, and boy are we glad we changed our mind. We sat next to this gentleman, Bryn (I'm prob spelling it wrong) and so passionate about the pub and the open mics for music students, we stayed an extra hour just to see him play and they're amazing!
