Food was really great and very good value. We all had the carvery and enjoyed the variety of vegetables. We all had a sweet and they were really good; especially the crumble and custard. 2 of us had the ginger beer which we always enjoy but perhaps you need to keep more in stock as initially the young man thought they'd run out and this has happened before. The only thing that could have been improved on was the restaurant was far too hot. I was going to ask if a nearby door could be opened but then a family came in and sat very close to it so I thought they may not want it open. The 25% off voucher tempted us to visit so more vouchers would be great. I have just started the rewards scheme so will have to see what my reward is after our next visit. All in all a very satisfactory visit and the amazingly mild weather meant we could go for a walk on the promenade afterwards; perfect.
The staff here are fantastic they are friendly and very accommodating The food is what you expect from a carvery self serve veg and adequate portions of mean but nothing special but 100% will go again because of the friendly staff
Lunch with friends. Welcomed warmly and sincerely. Shown to the table, drinks order taken and efficiently delivered with a smile 😃. The restaurant was busy, surprised we didn't have to wait to collect our buffet. Roast beef was melting tasty and good. Vegetables hot and not overcooked. The rest of our party were more than satisfied. Thanking you for a lovely experience .
This is a friendly, welcoming carvery restaurant which offers absolutely incredible value-for-money. We were hugely impressed! The staff whom we met perfectly strike that balance between being friendly and yet not being over-familiar and intrusive. The service was amazingly quick and efficient despite the place being quite busy. Patrons enjoy three hours of free parking simply by keying in their vehicle reg. upon a touch-screen within the building.
This place I normally regard as the best Toby Carvery in the North West. Cannot believe how busy it was on our last visit. An hour wait for a table inside....but you can sit outside. Thought great....err no not a good idea...very very busy queued for 1/2 an hour. Don't think they should be allowing any outside seating. My wife's turn when i got back to the bench....35 minutes later she reappeared with her meal. Because it was so busy standards dropped...soggy Yorkshire puds.. hard roasties .. you've let yourselves down. Prefer quality.... should have walked away. My favourite Toby... even travelled over 50 miles in the past for this at St annes...today very disappointing😖
