About us

We pride ourselves on laying on the king of all roast dinners; a choice of tender, succulent meats, golden roasties that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just as they should be. Add to that a towering Yorkshire, crisp yet fluffy and freshly made and lashings of real gravy and you can see why our guests keep coming back for more.

Roasting the Toby way

Here at Toby Carvery Blackpool, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly. Every spud is checked by hand and ruffled for extra crunch. All of our meat is slow-cooked and basted to succulent perfection. And our Yorkshires are freshly made in our kitchens and served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot to your plate. That's what makes us the home of the roast.

Our breakfast menu offers you a range of delicious choices to set you up for the day and our kid’s menu never fails to delight the kids, making it easier than ever to spend time with the family.

Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including our tasty cooked breakfasts and sensational sundaes.

Very impressed with the carvery this evening. Never been here before (even though we are local) but so glad we tried it. Nathan greeted & seated us, gave a warm welcome. Waitress took drinks order and explained the process, very pleasant. Food was so tasty. Vegetables cooked perfectly, not overcooked and mush and not hard (other carvery locally offers hard veg). Meat was lovely and tender and chef gave decent portion. Yorkie was huge and had great flavour. We are picky eaters so a recommendation from us means so much more 😂 We will definitely be back. Really enjoyed our meal ❤️ Sorry no photos. Ate it before thinking 😋

Absolutely fantastic! When we arrived we were greeted and lead to our table. The service was amazing. Im on a gluten free diet all the food was checked for gluten and then my vegetables and potatoes were cooked separately to avoid cross contamination. I was also brought freshly washed cutlery again to avoid any cross contamination. The food was really good especially the roast potatoes and the mash. My husband had a couple of the light bites and said they were really good. Thank you for turning what was thought to be a quick pit stop into a lovely meal/experience and definitely left me feeling safe/happy about my food which doesn't happen often when I eat out.

The carvery was tasty, hot and plentiful. Meat was delicious and veg topped up as needed. Only downside was Yorkshire pudding was oily on the bottom but we can all have a Yorkshire disaster day. The staff were also lovely, attentive and looked happy in their work. It makes a change to be served by pleasant people. We will definitely return.

We went for dinner as we had a voucher for 50%off. We waited at the entrance to be seated for a good 5 minutes before someone noticed us. This was at around 8 o'clock. The restaurant wasn't busy but the staff member still seemed concerned we hadn't booked, on a Wednesday night I didn't think it would be needed. We were sat in the window, drink and food order was taken almost immediately. And we went up to get our food, the carvery was still well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The main issue we had was when we were ready to pay. We waited 15 minutes for someone to bring the bill over but no one came. We eventually gave up and went to the bar at which point we were asked "do you remember what table you sat at". As I said the restaurant wasn't busy, I can't be that hard to remember who was sat where. We paid up and left, no thanks for coming, no have a good night. Just "cheers guys". Maybe a bit of CS training could help.
