The ‘Tin of Sardines’, on the City’s Elvet Bridge, has a collection of 200 brands & 50 Mixers from across the globe.
“I love to grow my own herbs and spices, and that is what gin is, with the spirit,” said Ben.
“We are checking to see if we are the smallest gin bar in all the world. I had not heard of the line from the film, but we are not sure of how they measure the space. If we are not the smallest, we are without doubt one of the smallest.”
Each drink is made to suit the taste of customers. Gin lovers can also book the premises for an hour, with a session including a full gin tutorial.

Had a great evening at the Tin of Sardines Gin Bar! James was a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable. He is a great example of customer service at its best. Would recommend Tin of Sardines and James. Will be back!
As the name suggests this is a small bar, so small there's no counter. Great place if you want someone to chat to. And an excellent selection of Gins and very diverse range of tonic water.
Well, where do I start. I have visited this once amazing experience so many times over the last few years with my wife who is a big gin fan. Every time we came you had the amazing sales pitch and they would recommend all your favourite drinks. This time we were not welcomed but rather stared at by Someone who didn’t even k ow where his rims were. It was a Monday evening at 2035hrs to be precise. The guy stared at my wife for so long we just left. Weird is not the word. Never visit here when he is working
Great place to grab some steak and enjoy a cocktail by the elvet bridge with views on the cathedral. Highly recommended 👌 good atmosphere and affordable.
Amazing little gin bar, staff are very friendly and have a lot of knowledge and experience. I always come here so I'll be back again
