Visited this place for the first time with a friend the other day. I'd been very excited to go, and it didn't disappoint. Staff were lovely and knowledgeable, the music that was playing was very fitting for the environment, and the selection of beer was vast. They had 6 ales on tap which were kept well, and had fully stocked fridges containing a wide range of ale as well as some cider. Some notes - the most expensive alcohol establishment I've been to locally - talking around £5 per pint. Only food on offer is crisps/bar snacks (not that I want any more from this kind of venue, just clarifying for potential future patrons) There are enough seats for 10-20 people in total, but we didn't struggle to get a seat, despite the fact there were a few different pairings in. The best part about the place is that you can chat to other patrons - no need for a pool table, darts board, TV, etc. Because conversation turns the night over well. Would highly recommend a visit, I'll be back regularly. Great to support local business. Would be nice if there was a daily special on one of the beers knocking off a pound a pint to make it a little more affordable, but without knowing distribution and rental costs I accept I pay what I'm charged and it wouldn't prevent me coming back, would just encourage me to come back more often.

Such an amazing idea to bring life back into the community. Great selection of craft beers, with something to cater for everyone including alcohol free options and soft drinks for those who like to come for the atmosphere. Great little space, warm and welcoming with the owner being very warm and approachable with a great knowledge of craft beers. Crafty Brew is working with local breweries who fully support the concept and I look forward to spending more time there and watching it thrive into a bustling space suitable for all, well done!

Lovely little bottle shop serving local craft beers from the likes of Yonder, Northern Monk, Buxton. The Bar itself is all decked out in wood with some bourbon barrel tables and has a large window where you can watch the world go by while having a few bevvies. The shop is transitioning from selling vapes to craft beer apparently the owner is waiting on installation of beer pumps so he will have an few beers on tap.. Music policy seems quite laid back and not intrusive. We tried several different cans, there's a screen with tasting notes about the products which is helpful when it comes to choosing your beer. Overall a good experience and brings something different to the area.
