Used to be a great place, used the great music...got let down by the bouncers and owner Asked for a karaoke song an hour before kick out, when it ever materialised I asked the dj in good faith (I understand these things happen) to be told I never asked for a song, I ask the dj and get grabbed by the throat by the bouncer and completely ignored the management All I asked for was the dj to explain (imo the bouncer was far too eager)all they had to dl was stop and listen and all could be avoided
great night. Man u and Rugby on. Karaoke was decent!!!

Brilliant little pub, dog friendly and very welcoming staff . My partner and myself called here for a quick 1 last night on our way back to the cottage we were staying at and ended up staying over an hour! We were served by a lovely young lady named Katherine, whom we are hoping to come back and see later in the year. Thankyou for making us feel so welcome!
Pub doesn’t display audio and video recording in the smoking area, through out the pub. And in the toilets. So yes ladies that means Lewis us listening into and watching you in the toilets. Dirty glasses. Hostile staff. You have to wipe your feet on the way out. Feel sorry for the door staff.

This bar sits directly beneath the Town Hall itself but is a completely separate entity. Decorated in mock Tudor style its many rooms have been opened out around the central bar but it retains the atmosphere of a rambling multi-roomed pub.
