Authentic and cozy pub, a traditionally preserved authentic pub. Good selection of beers and great prices. Friendly locals, staff helpful and polite. Good place for friends and family to meet up. Most certainly will visit again.
Lovely traditional pub full of charm and great beer selection
Great local pub with good choice of beers (and dog friendly). Large quality pork pie for £2 - delicious. Just need to get some crisps in and it woudl be perfect :)
My Partner and I organised her 60th Birthday party at this particular Banks's pub last night (30th July) and I can honestly say we couldn't have picked a better venue. With the help of the Manager Mike, and his team including Olly, Naomi and Ash...Ash helped in the planning leading up to the Party' but as since left unfortunately, we had a Fabulous evening with friends & family. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this Pub, and we've made some lovely friends since we started to frequent here. Just wish I'd have known how nice a Pub it was years ago. Thanks Guys for a Fantastic time.xx P.s the cheese cobs are to die for.
A pub with two halves, the snug comfortable and cosy, the bar as it has been for years long wooden seats tiled floor awaiting clocking off time. Enjoyed both sides as our second visit we had dogs, who were welcomed with water bowl and treats on the bar. Beer good but sadly out of snacks on our visits. Well worth a visit.
