Lovely pub in Dobcross with a lot of character. Food is really nice and in my opinion some of the nicest pub food in the area with plenty to choose from. It's kid friendly and definitely one of our more frequented pubs because of this.
Well worth a trip, 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Food is hot & fresh. Draft Beers Great. Booking is recommended in the evenings - Sat/Sunday. Many a year there's a Car Show in Uppermill,
Really good food here. Some lovely staff who were friendly and couldn't do enough, others a bit sullen and moody. Nice atmosphere and an attractive pub in a lovely village. Would definitely visit again but would definitely like the friendly server.
Just had the most amazing meal proper Steak & Kidney Pudding. Absolutley gorgeous, can't recommend this lovely pub enough. Always a fav place to eat when visiting Saddleworth. Hope that is a regular on the menu!!
A small but busy pub (even on a weekday). The food was excellent and the staff were able to provide a group of 18 with a pre-booked meal around 5pm. The sausage n mash with yorkshire pud was the dish we had and it was full of flavour and piping hot. Highly recommended. Well done to the friendly staff :). Dogs are welcome too.
