It was so good to go back to my happy place - third stay and I will be back. The Swan is a really great hotel, super location, slightly away from The Lake hustle but good for all areas of the Southern Lakes. . We love the rooms, food and decor. 😄

Lovely location, and friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the rowdy children that was in the spa ruined the zen feel for us. And the therapeutic pool was closed, this was disappointing as it was something we looked forward too. However the reception staff was lovely about it. The food is a little bit of a ridged menu but beautiful food. However the rooms was a little disappointing I wasn't sure what we expected when we booked but with this price but we expected to stay in something a little more than just a bog standard Premier Inn room. However this didn't take away from the experience. Overall was a lovely stay ☺️

A bit hit and miss. We had dinner in the pub, which was a lovely space with two roaring fires - very welcoming and dog friendly. Lovely, attentive staff. My husband had a beef and ale pie (which was gorgeous!) and an apple crumble, which also was delicious (lots of crumble - yum!). I had a Camembert, which had to be replaced as it came lukewarm in a cold dish. The second time it was more melted, but still on a cold dish, so I had to eat it very quickly before it hardened! The nice manager took it off the bill. My sticky toffee pudding was very tasty but again came in a cold bowl, so it cooled very quickly. Also the cafetière coffee was very weak. The bill was wrong as it had the next table’s drinks on it. Slightly shambolic for a place where all the main courses are around £20. If my husband had eaten here on his own, he would have had a different experience as his food was perfect :) Hot plates would have made all the difference.

I visited the hotel with a small group of friends for some relaxation time. The hotel was lovely with friendly staff who were very welcoming especially in the bar where we had a lovely lunch. The food in the brasserie was tasty, well presented and very filling. We used the spa which was excellent. Again the staff were friendly and welcoming. Both me and a friend had treatments with Susie. She was excellent and I would highly recommend her. The best facial and massage I’ve ever had! I will certainly be returning.

Called in for an evening meal. The food was delicious. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It felt like walking into "one happy family!!" The roaring fires and huge Christmas tree made such an inviting atmosphere. We even called in on the following day for a coffee. Just as good. We will be back!!
