The most fabulous off the beaten path find. Great staff, fantastic food and location. Pie of the day (chicken and duck) was phenomenal.
I have just returned from lunch with my family of six we sat next to the roaring fire which was regularly topped up by staff and it was just spectacular! every Sunday we visit somewhere different for family lunch and throughout Surrey this was just the best roast I’ve had. My husband is a chef and not easily pleased but he was on this occasion. The Sunday roast sirloin is simply divine. The surrounding is beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful I loved it there. Beautiful food, great choice of beer and wine and a fabulous experience. I recommend it completely you can’t go wrong especially with the lovely fire. We can’t wait to return. Thank you William IV !
Very nice pub on a quiet country road. The outdoor seating is comfy and brilliant on a warm summer’s day, if you’re into horses there’s a field just over the road and they often come to the fence. The food is very nice pub fare with a good range of options as are the beers and ales. Great little independent place!
Nice little pub nestled in the Surrey countryside. Lots of amazing house around! The pubs beer offering was good, something for everyone. Once again they had one of my favourites, Neck Oil so I was happy. We weren’t able to eat here but I did spy a few of the dishes coming out to other people, and they looked average I thought. They had a nice selection of snacks, I was able to sample a few. Bar staff were friendly and the place was busy which is always a good sign.
Hidden gem. Delicious and unusual menu. Kiche, spaghetti with forest mushrooms, apple pie, Chocolate Fondant, awesome. Dry ciders, very rare and tasty. Staff is awesome. Patient and very helpful. Could be 1 or 2 people more. Ladies seemed to be very busy even after rush hours. Thank you very much for nice time. I strongly recommend and will visit again. All the best.
