Front of house was amazing, accommodating and just generally lovely, not too happy about missing items but understandable on a Monday night. Overall a great night out, will be back again..
Just home from birthday meal (13 adults 3children) all on long table. Plenty of time to meet & greet. Food was excellent service was very good and polite. Allowed to stay as long as needed. Reasonably priced. Give the pub a try you won’t regret it. Many thanks!!!
Good place, kind and helpful staff. 🙂 The food could do with a bit of a tune up as the dishes were just plain, tasty tho, but just plain... prices are a bit on the expensive side and food you get doesn’t reflect it at all. Also a bit of attention to tidiness as table wasn’t the cleanest. 😑 🙂
Happily becoming the new ‘local’, James has made visiting a regular treat. I may be biased as he ensures I always have a Tommy’s Margarita in hand. During this particular dinner visit we munched on: •Crispy calamari with saffron aioli. •Halloumi fries with chipotle chilli jam. •Beer-battered Atlantic haddock & triple-cooked chips with minted peas & tartare sauce. •8oz Steak with triple-cooked chips, watercress & peppercorn sauce.
Excellent pub / restaurant. A great varied menu with veg and vegan options, surprisingly private table layout and a very extensive beer selection. Typical "Near London" pricing, but the food quality and taste was great.
