SWB is by far the best spot of its kind in Oxford. Emily and her team are fantastic, offering friendly and wonderful service, tremendous knowledge on their menu, and a great atmosphere. My partner struggles to find wines she loves, but always comes away thrilled (despite the number of wines she ends up trying). This is a great spot for a romantic drink, a meet up with friends or even an event (they do tastings!). Cannot. Recommend. Enough.

This is the most wonderful wine bar and has been a fantastic addition to the Oxford scene. Firstly, the service provided by Emily and her team is friendly, attentive and they have excellent wine knowledge. Secondly, the interior is inviting, comfortable and they've managed to create a coziness, despite the venue being a decent size. Finally (and perhaps most importantly), the wine available has been so carefully chosen and offers a broad range of options, all of excellent quality, with something available for all tastes - just ask for a wine recommendation, you won't be disappointed. And there's a nice little menu to top it off. I highly recommend!!!

This place keeps getting better and better. The addition of gentle space dividers and sofas/armchairs adds to the relaxed and classy vibe. The real stand-out here is the quality of service and knowledge of the staff. Emily helped us pick different wines to try based on what we liked (we used all sorts of random terms to describe what we liked, yet she still nailed it!). Their light bites are also super tasty. A must visit for Oxford :)

I love love this place. The staff are fantastic. So knowledgeable and kind enough to share their appreciation of each wine they recommend. Emily and Ashley have always welcomed us with such enthusiasm and kindness. Please visit and enjoy their hospitality.

Great selection of wine, from classified Bordeaux to minimal intervention wine. We had a flight of English wine and a bottle of sparkling, which we were allowed to leave at the bar overnight for us to come back again the next night! Friendly staff who are clearly passionate about wine. They did live music on a Sunday we visited. Spacious and comfortable interior.
