We are Bury-St-Edmund's dedicated sports bar - we televise all the Premiers League Football, Rugby Union (from 6 Nations to Pro14), Cricket, Athletics, Motorsport, Tennis, American Sports & everything else that it is possible to show.
Anything you can think of we will put on. We also are the only venue in Bury that shows 3pm kick offs on Saturday's! We have 11 HD screens so that you will never miss a moment of the action, and also have a 6ft projector. But you don't have one outside you say? Yes we do! But what about when I go to the loo? We have that covered too - with a 50" tv in the men's toilet. You really will never miss any of the action when you enjoy it with us. You will also be able to take in our fantastic food, which you can enjoy a light bite to a full on Lean Mean Gym Burger as you watch the action. Every Friday The Gym Rocks because we showcase the best live bands around on our stage from 10pm onwards. The week is never finished off without our Saturday night, which comes alive so you can dance to anything from 70's bangers to present day until 3am - all spun by our legendary resident DJ.
Just stopped in for a quick drink so can't comment on the food. Lots of TV screens. Fun sports decor. Plenty of tables/seating. Hair straighteners in the ladies 😃. Serve coffee and hot chocolate for those of us who were driving. Enjoy!
Went to this bar after our Christmas meal. It was great when we first arrived as nobody was there so it was good vibes and pool but when the place started filling with people the vibe changed and it was filled with some colourful characters. The staff went from chilled to stressed, which was understandable.
Been here several times now and never a good experience. Bartenders are rude and lack experience. Security acts hard and couldn't figure out how to get themselves out of a wet paper bag. Type of place that attracts the wrong type of crowd. Not recommended for any respectable people.
Great atmosphere, nice staff, Drinks a little more pricey than I'd like but a great bar
Punk IPA on tap, which is the best Brewdog beer. Roughly 15 screens to watch the football, with TV's on the urinals. Ordered the wrong drink and hey exchanged it without questioning. There are beer taps on the tables, which is a nice touch. Been here a few times and everytime I have been here it has been a good experience. I would recommend coming here if any football is on, it is currently a Wednesday night with the place half full, a very short wait for drinks, and two championship and one premier league match on the screens. It's not loud, easy to hear others, parking is quite close. There is a subeuto table in glass on the ceiling. Great pub.
