NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED :-( The Plough at Rede is one of Suffolks best kept secrets. A thatched pub with oak beams, an open fire, all tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Rede. Stunning location, fabulous atmosphere with a warm welcome and the best food for miles around. Brian and Joyce have been running the Plough for over 30 years with customers returning time and time again. Ide give 100 stars if I could.
What a cracking gem this pub is, not only is it beautiful and set in a stunning location but the food is amazing and as for the staff, nothing is too much trouble, friendly and very welcoming. 👏

This was one of the best pub experiences I’ve ever had! The staff were so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate for us by setting up the table ready for our arrival and having a water bowl ready for our dog. The food was yummy and the garden was beautiful, we especially enjoyed meeting their parrot!😁
