About us

Welcome to the Station Inn in Andover; An 18th century Coaching Inn close to the centre of the town. The name itself stems from a time when the Andover to Southampton railway ran adjacent to the Inn and it provided accommodation and hostelry services to Andover’s second railway station. Now, it is a family run venue and enjoys a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

We have a large patio to the rear that in the summer months is a real sun-trap and perfect for enjoying a cold drink on a hot day. A great place to relax and unwind.

We also have a large bar area where you can watch sports on our large flat screen TVs or shoot some pool on one of our two premier pool tables or should you wish, you can have a game of darts.

On most Saturday evenings we have live music events featuring a variety of selected cover bands. We also have regular Blues Jam sessions on the third Monday of each month which are well worth a visit.

At the Station Inn we are proud of our 7 excellent quality rooms and are a 4 Star Accolade awarded Inn, with very high standards in customer satisfaction, accommodation and for the general running of the establishment.

Excellent pub in the centre of town. Loads of good beers and ciders on tap. Pool tables, darts and Duke box. They also show the sports. Haven't stayed here but I believe there is rooms available.

Friendly staff, great pool tables, big screen TVs showing sport and a jukebox. A close walk to the town centre.

A hidden accommodation gem in Andover. And we've been here 22 years but never knew they did rooms; until we were leaving and needed a final night stay - concurrent with a Thruxton weekend. No frills, it's an old pub / inn with rooms 'out the back', but really comfortable beds, huge King or King+ bed, large en-suite. Quiet at night and very clean, freshly serviced room. The Station Inn does not do B&B, but we didn't need breakfast and TBH there are plenty of other local breakfast options. But for a convenient central Andover overnight stay with a car park and access to nearby restaurants, this is a great place to stay.

This is a hotel without a breakfast. That apart the room was nicely equipped and perfectly clean. The staff too were friendly and most helpful. There is car parking at the hotel but arrive early to get a slot. This hotel is thoroughly recommended.
