We stayed here while attending a wedding up the road. From the minute we arrived we were treated with attention and friendliness. The room was great with lots of small little details and they sorted taxis for us with ease. Breakfast was delicious and we could not recommend more. The owners of this little gem really care and we loved it!
Good food, decent prices but the staff were very friendly and engaged well with the little one. A real traditional small village pub with plenty of atmosphere. Space for maybe 20 cars around the side, with the 4 parking spaces out front for the local residents.
19 of us visited on a busy Saturday night for a hen do, all of the staff were amazing! Our orders were taken 1 week before our booking, drink orders taken and brought over immediately on our arrival, food was brought out promptly, tasty and hot!! Thank you again for accommodating all of us, if we were to visit West Leake again, we would definitely return!! Special mention to Anna, she was so kind and friendly to all of us, a big group and not once did she get flustered!!
Had a fantastic meal last night to celebrate a birthday! Great food, generous portions, friendly staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Menu selection was excellent with some different options....made it difficult to choose! I had the Gyros with chicken but also tried the halloumi - delicious......followed by Chocolate Pie served with Salted Caramel Ice Cream....also delicious! The Star is literally 5 minutes down the road from me (15/20 if you walk) so we will definitely be visiting again very soon. Highly recommended 👌
