Great night out Well organised, great value and top shelf comedians Get there early or you might be standing
Average comedy venue, acts were funny but not of note, very generic. Quite small venue, its called stand as they only have seat for about 25% of attendees, I was standing and could see and hear all the act clearly. While I was there they had a few interval so you can get a drink. Drinks are reasonably priced and services was supper fast. All in all prob worth the price paid for the ticket.
Great Experience. We went to a Christmas special and all the comedians were brilliant, the host Susie McCabe was absolutely hilarious. Really recommended
We came here due to an event of the hostel every Monday. Paid some 6 pound and were seated together close to the stage. Better be early for good seats. So yeah it was 1,5h. Two breaks after each half hour. And man I laughed. The host, Angus, always announced by a French speaker, was already a comedian. Super funny, lively and cool dude. And then we saw a variety of female, male, odd, normal, funny looking comedians. The last 30 min was only the main act of the night. All in all many tears of laughter. I laughed all the time. All acts were really funny. Hope some will become famous. So yeah Monday evening? Get yourself some laughter here it's worth it.
Fabulous basement comedy venue. Well stocked bar, friendly staff + loads of atmosphere & that is before the act comes on. I saw Marjolein Robertson who is a comedian/storyteller who was worth travelling all the way from Liverpool just to see. Top tip if you want a seat arrive early otherwise you may end up having to stand at The Stand to watch stand up comedy.
