excellent service from the get go, lovely atmosphere too. food was good though my partners well done steak was a little too well done. overall a very nice meal especially the puddings. mmmmm. special mention to our waitress today, Debs. thought she did remarkably well as it got busier and busier.
Carvery was good value even on a Sunday. All the staff were friendly and helpful, our server Deborah was especially lovely. Our table was right next to a slots machine which was the only let down but for a pub not really the end of the world. Overall, a good family (and dog!) friendly pub.

Stooped here for the night before heading to Gatwick Airport. Food was very good and beer was a plenty. Good start to the holiday :-) Hotel was perfect for a stop over.
Straightforward carvery with a good menu of classic pub fare. The welcome from Cerys was lovely and she was great throughout the meal. The food was served quickly and cooked well.
