Local Pub with fantastic beer garden with sheltered seating areas with heaters or sat overlooking the river in the sunshine. Serving home cooked food with a great selection of real ales, beer and lager.
Lovely local pub, friendly landlords, newly renovated, seating outside leading onto the river, great atmosphere.
Back in for the first time in years. New Landpeople! and changing a few beers. Beer kept well. Atmosphere better with seating back. Will go again but am a Swan man so difficult.
Friendly bar man and a few good ale choices. Only popped in whilst waiting for a Chinese (which was exceptional) but would be more than happy to go again.
So glad we found this place for Sunday lunch. This is a cosy, traditional establishment with friendly staff and excellent food. The Sunday menu is limited to either small or large roast dinners (beef, turkey or ham) with a good choice of starters and desserts. I opted for a small roast beef which came with Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and mashed swede with lots of lovely gravy and it was enormous! Very delicious and piping hot. The veg were all fresh and nicely cooked. I would have loved to try the sticky toffee pudding as several people in the bar were eating it and highly recommended it but I couldn't eat another bite. A very good Sunday lunch which I can certainly recommend.
Fantastic meals great service lovely staff 10/10 for us.
