Since the Rutland re-opened in October it has found itself at the heart of various groups and differing communities who use it. The love and support from local business, bands, artists, CAMRA, friends from across Sheffield, football fans, media and many more is what makes the pub thrive and is really the very heartbeat of everything that goes on there.
This website allows the various groups who use the pub, its beer garden and function room another space to meet up, help each other, share ideas and tell each other what you are doing (as well as giving essential information on the pub). Anyone who has visited the pub knows how friendly it is, how many people have passions and enthusiasms that others share and what a fun place it is to be. A country pub in the city. Such a lovely pub and one of the best in Sheffield. They always have an interesting and varied selection of beers. The staff are great and very dog friendly. They always bring out some meat for our dog which he loves, or course! There's plenty of outdoor seating and in the winter it's nice and cozy inside. I've not had the pleasure of eating here yet but the ”Rutty Butty" is famous and the food always looks appetising. Highly recommended!
Fantastic classic traditional pub with a brilliant selection of beers and sold at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff peeps, too. Highly recommended if you're ever in Sheffield.
Loved this place - a proper pub, a massive choice of good beers and ciders, a menu that includes an excellent chip butty and a jukebox with all my old 70s favourites. Took me back 50 years - in a good way!
