Our fine food is served all day from 12 noon Tuesday to Sunday, and our meal choices are displayed on large chalkboards within the pub. These change daily and contain a wide variety of home made dishes prepared from the finest produce which is sourced locally where possible. At any time our boards will contain a selection of seasonal specialities as they become available to our chefs including seafood, game and fish plus many more familiar pub classics cooked with great quality ingredients and culinary flair.
Our Sunday lunches are legendary, choose from a selection of 4 carvery roasts plus our varied specials board including steaks and fish options and typically 5 or 6 different delicious vegetarian choices.

Lovely pub very cosy. Food wasn't great unfortunately. We had a bigger group and by time the food came out some had finished eating while others were just getting their food. Some food missing too. Only 2 staff on front and one didn't look like she had been working long. The floor was a death trap as was very slippy. Overall won't be returning which is a shame.
Have been several times and always excellent service.. Lovely beer garden, brilliant in the summer Sufficient menu, decent sized portions and lovely food.. We never leave hungry.. Would recommend.. And will be returning..👏👏
Very hit and miss this place. Had the "Fish & Chips" Fish was massively overcooked so ended up leaving 2/3 of it. Told the chap, just said he'd tell the chef, no apology, nothing, so will probably not ho here again. Also run out of basic items frequently.
The "pub grub" food is well cooked and beautifully presented and delicious and great choices at a reasonable price. The staff are warm,friendly and helpful. We took two dogs in, and there's a special area ( a small snug) you can sit. Or in the summer there's a large comfortable beer garden. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it and we'll be returning there soon.
Nice food and very good quick service. Food all cooked fresh and very friendly staff. All the meals coming out of the kitchen looked very good. The chunky chips are lovely and they have a very good extensive menu. Lots of history around and in the pub about the Pilgrim Fathers if you are a history buff. Will definately call again.
