Always enjoy stopping here whilst doing a bit of retail therapy, always great atmosphere when I walk through the door, staff are always polite and professional. Food here is absolutely wonderful, plenty to choose from

We visited one of the oldest pub in Cardiff. It was crowded with people who came to watch rugby on the day, but there were enough seats luckly. I like the atmosphere, but did not try any foods so I will try it next time.

I have been here previously and had the cauliflower wings (pic 2), which were really good as it was actual decent pieces of cauliflower. But my recent visit, I had the 3 small plates and had the cauliflower wings again and was served this disappointing plate (pic 1). I was upset as I usually love the cauliflower wings but these looked like entrails from a batch 😭. I had to take a pic as I could not believe the difference. Sorry the second pic is extremely bad as it was a video of me praising them.

This was a fantastic pub for me and my friend to go drinking at, with a vintage style that the lights and bar contribute to! The Welsh flag is also a neat addition, the staff were friendly and we shared a cocktail on the offer, sitting comfortably at a clean table.
